Pro AV Manufacturer Raven Research Bolsters Personnel Lineup with New Additions

Ex-Magenta Research members bring years of sales & marketing experience

Brookfield, CT May 7, 2014 – Connecticut-based digital signal extension and distribution manufacturer Raven Research announces the appointment of two new team members, Len Pond and Pete Gallagher.

An original founding member of Magenta Research, Len served in a wide variety of positions at Magenta over the years, including management roles in sales and marketing.  His most recent position was Product Manager for the MultiView and Mondo Matrix lines.

Pete labored for eight years at Magenta, beginning in sales and marketing before eventually ascending to the position of Manager, Marketing and Communications, where he was responsible for the company’s trade show, advertising and messaging initiatives.

Pete and Len join Raven co-founders Gerald Nardone and Chris Miller, in Raven’s new headquarters, which the company relocated to in March of this year.

Gerald, the archetypal “box builder,” served as General Manager of Magenta during its most successful years, while Chris, an original founding member of Magenta who invented the transmission of high-resolution video over twisted-pair, drove development of a wide range of Magenta’s products—including the Mondo Matrix and MultiView lines—while serving as the company’s Chief Scientist.

Chris offered, “As Raven’s product offerings continue to expand, we’re also faced with increased staffing needs. Snatching up Len and Pete, who we enjoyed working alongside previously and who bring a lot of experience to the table, was a no-brainer.”

“This is the beginning of an exciting period of growth for Raven,” he added.
